Make Your iOS Device a Wireless Hotspot

Open the Settings app on your iPhone to turn it into a hotspot.
Choose Cellular, then pick Personal Hotspot so the slider is in the green position.
Since your current cellular plan does not permit tethering, you will need to follow up with your carrier if you don't see a slider but do see the button Set Up Personal Hotspot.
After turning on the Personal Hotspot, a screen will appear asking you to confirm the Wi-Fi password and the phone's name.
Navigate to Settings, then Wi-Fi, on the device you wish to connect to wi-fi on, such as your laptop or desktop computer, and look for the name of your iPhone that is operating as a hotspot. You should connect once you enter the password.

Make Your Android a Wireless Hotspot

On your Android smartphone, launch the Settings app.
On Android, choose Network & Internet.
To activate the smartphone as a mobile hotspot, select Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot. Like the iPhone, a screen will appear asking you to confirm the Wi-Fi Password and the phone's name.
Locate the name of your Android smartphone under Wi-Fi in Settings on the device you want to connect to the internet. You can now proceed after entering the password.
