How Can I Enable Mobile Tethering on iOS?

To tether on iOS devices, follow these steps to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad: 
  • On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Personal Hotspot, or directly access it through Settings > Personal Hotspot, and ensure that it's turned on. 
  • Verify the Wi-Fi password and the name of your phone in the Personal Hotspot settings. Keep this screen open until you connect your other device to the Wi-Fi network. 
  • On the device you want to connect, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi. 
  • Locate your iPhone or iPad in the list of available Wi-Fi networks and tap on it. 
  • If prompted, enter the password for your Personal Hotspot to establish the connection.

How Can I Enable Mobile Tethering on an Android Mobile Phone?

To turn on Mobile Hotspot on an Android device, follow these simple steps:
  • Swipe down from the top of the screen on your Android device. 
  • Tap on "Hotspot" or "Mobile Hotspot." 
  • If you can't find it, tap "Edit" at the bottom left and drag "Hotspot" into your Quick Settings. 
  • Connect another device to your phone's mobile hotspot: 
  • Open the list of available Wi-Fi options on the device you want to connect.
  • Select your phone's hotspot name from the list of available networks. 
  • Enter the password for your mobile hotspot. Click "Connect." 
  • Swipe down from the top of the screen. 
  • Touch and hold "Hotspot" or "Mobile Hotspot."
